An Indianapolis man got in a heated debate with his mother on Sunday night regarding an air conditioner unit, reports say. The 24-year-old son wanted to take his mother's air conditioner and laptop from her home and when his mother tried to stop him as he walked upstairs to grab the goods, he pulled out a stun gun and fired it at her several times.
When officers arrived on the scene, the 53-year-old woman was unconscious and taken for treatment at St. Vincent Hospital. The son, Adelino Sims, was arrested for battery with injury, criminal recklessness, and theft/receiving of stolen property.
